wash your hands with warm water and soap: when you come home from the street or leave the toilet, before cooking and after playing with animals or being on public transport. Lather all areas of your hands well and rub them for 20-30 seconds;
use hand cream. The cream moisturizes the skin and gives it a well-groomed appearance. It should be chosen based on your age and skin type. It is usually enough to rub the cream in the morning and in the evening. But if you have dry skin on your hands, use it even during the day;
cut your nails and do a manicure. You can do it yourself at home or in a beauty salon. In both options, ensure the sterility of the tool so as not to introduce viral diseases through the blood. Your nails should always be clean. Make sure that black dirt does not accumulate under them. Such an untidy appearance of hands will not make the best impression about you;
wear gloves In winter – to protect the skin from cooling and cracks. During cleaning – to protect hands from the influence of detergents and chemicals in their composition.

wash your feet every evening. If your feet are prone to heavy sweating, wash them more often;
pay attention to the areas between the fingers. Dirt and bacteria often accumulate there. Thoroughly clean these places, and after that, dry your feet well;
scrub. In order for the feet and heels to look well-groomed without cracks and dryness, scrubbing is carried out several times a month. Soak your feet in warm water and carefully clean your feet of hardened skin with a pumice stone or a special brush. After that, apply a nourishing foot cream;
cut your nails On the legs, nails grow more slowly, so it is enough to cut them about once a month. Pay special attention to the corners of the nails so that they do not grow into the skin of the fingers;
choose comfortable shoes. In addition to chafing and constant discomfort, an incorrectly selected pair of shoes provokes more serious consequences: flat feet, deformation of the feet and a strong load on the spine. When buying new shoes, choose models of your size, and also pay attention to the fullness of the foot. Shoes should not press, and fingers should not rest on the sock;
don’t wear someone else’s shoes: neither for a walk, nor to a restaurant, nor at home when visiting. If its owner has a fungus or other foot diseases, you are putting yourself at risk;
change your socks every day. During the day, the feet sweat, and all the sweat is absorbed by the socks. To avoid an unpleasant smell, make it a rule to put on a clean pair every morning. In addition, you will avoid the spread of a sharp smell on shoes. In this way, both feet and shoes will smell nice;
use deodorants for feet and shoes. If the unpleasant smell still persists, the first thing you should do is consult a dermatologist. This may be a sign of the development of fungal diseases. Special deodorants for feet and shoes can also remove unpleasant odors. But remember that you should apply them only on clean skin.

Body care

shower several times a week. In the morning, it is better to wash with cooler water. Such a shower helps to finally wake up, adds vigor, and also improves the body’s immune system. But in the evening you can safely take a warm shower or a hot bath. In addition to relaxing after a working day, you will also adjust to sleep and sleep more soundly. You should wash your legs, armpits, and genitals every day;
wash with soap and shower gel. The soap will clean the body of bacteria and dirt, and the shower gel will give the skin softness and a pleasant aroma. But remember that one gel is not enough. It does not clean the skin and does not kill germs. Therefore, be sure to wash with soap first;
use deodorant. During the day, we sweat and can smell bad. To keep feeling dry and fresh throughout the day, use a deodorant. Deodorants are of different types: hard, ball, spray. Choose your favorite and do not forget that using a deodorant does not replace washing the body;
use several towels. It is best to have 3 towels: one for the face, the second for the feet and the third largest one for the body. Change and wash all towels at least once a week, and preferably every 2-3 days;
change and wash bedding every 7-10 days. Germs, dead body parts accumulate on bed linen, and sweat is absorbed. You don’t want to sleep in such company, do you?
wear clean underwear every day. We also do not recommend under any circumstances to wear someone else’s underwear. Underpants and a bra are items for individual use only.
Care of boys’ genitals

twice a day, wash the genitals with warm water and soap
sleep in loose-fitting underwear or pajamas. Let nothing crush you or disrupt blood circulation in the genital area
If you do not follow hygiene, secretions will begin to accumulate under the foreskin. They cause an unpleasant smell, irritation and even purulent inflammation.

Care of girls’ genitals:

wash the pubic area and vagina twice a day with warm water
use ordinary soap or soap or gel for intimate hygiene
wipe the genitals with wetting movements
During menstruation:

it is better to take a shower, not a bath. Water that is too hot dilates blood vessels and can cause heavier bleeding
as much as possible, try to wash during the day
it is best to have a separate towel for wiping during periods
change pads or tampons every 3-4 hours, regardless of how full the means are
be sure to wash your hands with soap before and after changing a pad or tampon
we recommend refraining from swimming in the pool or open water bodies during menstruation
Hygiene in public places

If you are outside the house, be as careful as possible. Bathrooms, cafes or other public spaces are a source of germs, infections or viruses. Avoid direct contact with surfaces, and wash your hands often with soap. Here are some of the main recommendations:

don’t sit on the toilet. We recommend that you never sit on someone else’s toilet seat. A public toilet is an environment for germs and possible infectious diseases. It is best to use disposable pads on the toilet seat. If they are not available, you can lay down toilet paper and only then sit down;
open the door with your elbow, not your palm. Or first take a napkin in your hands and touch doorknobs, faucets or the toilet seat through it;
put food only on a clean surface. The place of food is in the plate. But if it happened that there are no dishes nearby, never just put food on the table. First wipe its surface, then lay a clean napkin and only then – stand;
use rubber slippers: in the pool area, when you take a shower in a hostel, gym or dormitory. Without them, you risk getting a fungal infection of the feet.
